This Study India Scholarship (SIS) is awarded to deserving students who apply to the Study India Scholarship (SIS) Program.

The scholarship is awarded on the basis of a standardized merit list for students seeking scholarships under the program. The scholarship amount or % reduction is decided by the colleges/universities.

Every deserving student who has been given the SII scholarship by Study India Scholarship (SIS) will be eligible to receive it for the following time period:

  • A period of five years for undergraduate integrated courses;
  • 3 or 4 years for undergraduate studies, depending on course length;
  • A period of two years for postgraduate studies;
  • Or until the end of this course, whichever comes first.

Note: Please remember that the Study India Scholarship (SIS) are now only available to students applying to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) degreesĀ & PhD programs.

Eligibility:

To be eligible for the Study India Scholarship, students must have registered with Study India Scholarship programme and completed their application on our website www.studyindiascholarship.comĀ before the deadline. The scholarships are given out on the following criteria:

  • Students will be required to fill up their academic details, which is administered by Study India Scholarship (SIS) in all countries.
  • The final findings are presented on the Student Dashboard based on the Scholarship of Colleges on basis of merit score scores and the counseling process.

Remember the following:

  1. Students who do not take the Scholarship of Colleges on basis of merit score will be disqualified from receiving the scholarship. They will, however, be eligible for Tuition Fee Waivers granted by institutes.
  2. Students who are given this scholarship will have their scholarship funds directly available by their institutions.

Please keep in mind:

The receipt of a scholarship does not guarantee admission to the designated institute. The institutes give final admissions based on their selection criteria.
