Opening a Bank Account

Students are urged to open a bank account in India to manage their finances. Indian Banking Sector is a blossoming one with secure payments gateways. To open a bank account, a foreign exchange student will have to do as follows:

  • Present your final admission letter or your enrolment certificate.
  • Letter of Declaration from the institute
  • A photocopy of your passport

The document that will be needed in this process will range from bank to bank and therefore students must consult this with their institutes first.
